This is surplus to my needs as I now own a sigma 120-300 f2.8 zoom.
The 300mm f4 L is a superb lens with magnificent optical quality, it can take a teleconverter beautifully.
Being a non is means it will also take excellent astro pictures due to no vibration from the IS during long exposures.
It's a perfect lens to couple with a camera mounted scope or for shooting wildlife.

Just the moon shots, but when we get some clear skies if ever in melbourne without it being moonlit (seems to be the pattern at the moment I'll see what I can do.
