Goodbye to my website
I have a new job starting in a couple of weeks, my first new job in 12 years. My website is currently hosted on my old employer's servers using propriatary software I helped build, so I won't be taking it with me.
I will be taking it offline sometime before 1st June.
It's been something like 7 years since it's last major refresh, so it's overdue for a fresh look. Here's hoping I have something new running in the not too distant future
Thinking maybe wordpress
Not quite sure what new form it will take.
Maybe a simple google blog
like my
astrophotography blog, they're so easy to update.
I know a lot of people have linked to various pages of mine like the
polar alignment info, and I still get over 80 individual real visitors each day. It'll be a shame to cut off all that traffic
Most popular pages over recent years? it's a bit bizzar...
