It finally cleared last night after a week of cloudy weather, so I made the most of it, imaging four nebula.
This image of NGC 6188 in Ara, is a little over processed but I like it. It seems to show more detail and contrast this way.
This is definitly one I'll revisit and spend more time imaging. At the moment I'm exploring different objects to see which are better suited to my setup. Also supplied the original to show what I'm working from.
Telescope 8” f/4 astrograph on a HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Unmodded Canon 1100D at ISO 800.
13 x 300 sec subs ISO 800.
11 dark frames, 9 flat frames and 9 bias.
Stacked in DSS and post process in Phototshop.
