Minolta Dimage7 for sale/Price Slash

i hardly use this camera now, so its up for sale. I paid $2100 for it originally, and added a bulb, and 240v power and a flash (alone worth $200). see here for details on the camera, and I had it firmware upgraded.
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/spec...ta_dimage7.asp for camera review and description

with case, 16meg and 32meg CF cards, skylight filter

I am asking $550 for the lot including postage. this camrea has heaps of features that some of the DSLR's dont such as time lapse photography. it has a terrific zoom lens as well.

Paypal accepted

Pardon me for butting in as I'm not buying, but I just wanted to say a few words in case people do not understand how good this camera is. If I didn't already own the Minolta DiMage 7Hi, (the next, later model) I would snap yours up in a flash. This is classified as a Prosumer camera and has an extraordinary range of features and functions. It replaced my 35mm film SLR and 5 lenses.

Cheers

Dennis

Hold your horses! I'm just looking at the reviews.

EDIT: It certainly is a bargain, but I'll keep saving my pennies for a 350d.

Now, that is a bargain (but I'm saving for a 350D). You should give people more time to respond, and maybe change the title to reflect the price slash.

That is priced to sell NOW. I am very tempted. I bought a 5 Mpix Fujifilm Z3?? for $270 as a present for my sis a few months ago. This camera would be so much better it's not funny. And that big beefy flash unit is not to be laughed at either.

Houghy, I hope the look of the bottom of the flowers image is like it is because you have technical difficulties (buggy software for) resizing and re-compressing images, and it does not look like that out of the camera. Maybe that is why no biters on what would be a super deal.

I really want to buy it. So badly. But I lack funds. Sorry.

Plus of course there is the fact that my parents are stupid and won't LET me get it
