Good luck with your new job, Josh! Sad to see a scope having to be sold, but i'm sure it'll go to a good home.

Hi Josh

I am new to the forum, and have posted a link about buying ones first scope - I have had a great deal of advice since posting and have been pointed in your direction. The price you are asking is within my budget and as such I am very interested. Ready to discuss.

Regards
Petra spacezebra

Hi Josh,

Be interested in your thoughts on the 8" LX90 with LNT. Why that scope, what do you see are its strengths and limitations, why not the 9.25" Celestron etc...

I'm still tossing up between the 10" LX200, the 11" Celestron or the 12" LX90 - decisions, decisions! I'm not sure what factors will sway my towards the better scope for my developing needs.

Hey Mathew.
Ive found the LX90 perfect for what i was after. Its very easy to use, always aligns itself spot on and the optics are very sharp. I would like more apparture but the 8" shows plenty of things for visual use and is perfect for most of the photography ill be doing for along time.
Its strenghts are its go-to and auto align. Also its size {very easy to transport}.
The only draw back is its cooldown time for planitary work but with alittle planning thats easy to compensate for. Im only beging to start taking pics, there may be more limitations i discover later, but for now i give it 5 stars.
Just be prepared for some intitial fustration learning how to set up. Afer a few times out it will seem very easy.{bit daunting at first}.
Hope that helps.Any other Qs just let me know.
See ya
