March Photo Challenge - Entries (Post them here)

The topic this month is: "Green"

As usual, one entry per person and the image must be your own work.
Normal forum image size applies.

The image doesn't necessarily have to have been taken this month but we do encourage you to go out and enjoy the challenge.

Good luck and good shooting.

Hi all I will kick us off this month

And we will have a "What is it" Challenge as well so anyone who thinks they know what it is can have a guess

The writing say's "EISLER'S PATENT" O yeah and it is not as green as this in the real world. And the top is sealed shut and there is nothing in it. No more hints forthcoming

I decided to put this one in because it is one of my favourite shots. Taken in January.

Green eyes, spines & tail

I found this thick-lipped fellow under the Blairgowrie pier, south of Melbourne (family Tetraodontidae). I think he is green enough to qualify for this month's challenge. Clearly he didn't feel threatened by me, or he would have puffed himself up. Fans of the Simpsons will also be reminded of the episode where Homer eats fugu at The Happy Sumo & believes he only has 24 hours to live.

Hebe Jeebies

Some Hebe.

(This could just be a place holder if I find a brown frog, just to show how hard it is...)

Tuscan Greens

Tuscan villa surrounded by olive and cyprus trees. Lots of hues of green in beautiful Tuscany on my recent trip, and was also autumn, so the colours were amazing!! One of my favourite places in Europe

Boyd Creek (near Te Anau) bathed in the purest light of the day. Yep, I think it's pretty green.

Larger resolution available here.
