Yes please Bert. So I can get into astrophotography better than I am now with my Pocket Kodak, and teach my kids to process and keep what they see.
I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you Bert. My other half (Cheryl) just said to say thank you and she said "good, now I can have my camera back".
That is very generous and kind of you. My boys would say thanks too but they are asleep.

I am rapt John. Can't wait to try it out.
Does anyone know the minimum size lappy I would need to run the Toucam. I think I read in here that someone uses an old 486 (I think that's what they were called) laptop to run one.
If necessary I will drag my whole PC outside until I get a cheap lappy.

Yes please Bert. I have the 2" Crayford Focuser but I'm not sure if the 1 1/4" adaptor supplied with the Crayford will suit the Toucam.
Better safe than sorry.
It will be a whole new learning experience for me but if the pics posted in here are any indication, it will be a great learning experience.

Make it so! Who said that! OK will send it all on Monday. From now on it's down to you.The 1 1/4 adapter replaces the lens and fits into where the lens was
and then the other end is the standard 1 1/4 fitting.See pic.

Thanks Bert.
I have already started reading old threads about using Toucams! It will certainly beat the Kodak pocket camera.

Top gesture Bert,
Ken, do you have tracking?
I believe it will be ok on most systems as long as it is not really old!
Just don't load all the software that comes with it. The extra software is what will kill your system.
All you need is the video component.
Remember K3ccd and desire are the ones to use for long exposure. Let me know how you go.
The 1 1/4" will be fine as long as you have 1.25" eyepieces. You will get 1500mm/5mm = 300 x magnification i reckon!!!.
Ask if you questions, as you will have lots of fun!!
