Vela SNR Mosaic Nine panels with 300mm Lens

Here is nine panels taken with the Canon 5DH and the 300mm F2.8L.

Exposures for each panel 10X(30s,1m,2m,4m) at 800 ISO. Hutech LPR filter and fridge at -5.0C.

Gradients were a bit of a problem but I wont bore you all with details. All done in HDR.

Full resolution 17x11 degrees FOV 9.7MB

I will enhance this image with HA and O3 data soon.

Well Bert that certainly is different, a wonderful wide field, and pretty sharp I might add, well done indeed.

That is a great image Bert. I was just trying to work things out. I think the bright blue star at the top is gamma Vel and the bright cluster on the right is IC 2391. North is on the left.

Gee's Bert I love how you do that, I have the one you did for me as a wallpaper on my new Monitor, which I might add (the Monitor) is a beauty, so sharp and clear.

Thanks for the comments all. I have given the data a bit of a more severe beating with GradientXterminator.
It is in the same place

The problem with 'eliminating' gradients is you start to lose contrast of the faint real nebular data. Most of the nebs in this image are very faint.
