Sunspot 798 10/sept

I just had to dust of the Nikon CP 4500 for this occasion

Conditions not super great - windy/cloudy - seeing maybe 6 out of 10? hmmm
Awesome sight in the ep just the same!

all single shots
details first pic 2000/1 WO 24mm ep 210mm dob iso 100
second and third WO 24mm/celestron 2x barlow/ iso 400/ 2000/1 sec each full/ optical zoom? 4X? cant remember - sorry!
i havent corrected for newt inversion either
white light filter - basic solar mylar

Terrific shots there Kearn - you have captured the faculae very well on the 3rd image. How on earth do you guys take these incredible images through Dobs?

Thanks Houghy, Dennis (altho I am not in your league mate) , David!! :-)))) its been a while since i did any afocal shots

Dennis - re your question, lots of magnets and patience!! - (its a very sturdy steel tube) but it must be very nice on a rock solid guided mount i bet (specially in the wind)- one day? my mate has an old C8/GP he keeps asking when we are gonna put the CP on it for a test -
