Whats your camera take 2

For the second time, sorry to all those kodak users????

Seeing as though most people on this forum seem to be quite the astrophotographers/imaging experts (I'm NOT included in that lot) it is about time to show your true colours.

Whats your flavour, canon, sigma, pentax, olympus etc

I will own up, I have a Pentax *istDS.

I've a little 'Canon' Power Shot A75. A brilliant camera. Only 3.2 meg, but fully featured. Pity I bought it when I did, as 4 months later it was $100.00 cheaper. Bugger. L.
Takes nice pics. tho!

Houghy,

You might have to do a 'What Camera Take 3'
You left out all the people with ToUcAM's and DSI's.

I've got a Canon EOS20D, taken a couple of shots of the moon and that's it. I'm still smuggling the necessary equipment in past the minister for finances and household affairs(e.g. wedge, guidescope, Illuminated EP stc). I almost bought a 1DS but changed my mind after shooting some test images and finding noticeable compression artifacts in dark areas (probably not apparent in Raw mode) and massive amounts of CA from the Sigma lens on offer. Had the 1DS been available with a genuine Pentax lens at a sane price I would most likely have bought it.

Not anymore, Geoff.. because it deletes all the replies (from other people) as well.. didn't think it was a good idea to allow someone to delete a whole thread that might have 50 replies from other people.

I've got a Sony digicam, not a DSLR..

Hey I can only vote once. Better include my canon EOS 500 film, Canon A10 (great for afocal moon shots) and of course the ToUcam. so you can add a couple more canons to the score. Go Canon

I don`t even know what it is. My son has a rectangled shape web cam that you can take shots with (no image display) and a old 35mm thing that i can`t name as well. A new digi cam is on the shopping list but i don`t know what to get first, new scope or camera

I have a Kodak P&S (DX6440) because; I have little knowledge of cameras, and find it hard to be artistic at the best of times. I just wanted something that worked, took resonably good shots and was easy to use (and its all of those).

Hayley (the better half) can be quite artistic though..

Plan to get a ToUcam eventually though to play around with it.

Paul, unless they are the ones with an inbuilt camera, then no.

Ken, your taxation comments have been referred to the ATO audit branch. They seem to think your a bit dodgy and wish to audit your Astro kit as undeclaired income. As there is no evidence of paying PenTAX
