Saturn and Jupiter getting closer

Hi all, the clouds parted for a while this evening so I got the 10" newt out and grabbed a few practice shots. Both planets fitted in the fov using a crop sensor 1100d. Not much detail at this focal length (1200mm) but managed a good compromise to capture the moment, just a single exposure 1/60 sec iso 1600.

Yes, good result, and four of Jupiter's moons in there as well.

Thanks Glen and Alan, I'm just going to try and get as much data as I can with different exposures, scopes and cameras and hopefully can put something ok together when processing it all. The weather here is looking ok'ish for the next week, so hopefully I can get something.
Cheers Rick
