Jupiter GRS 19th January 2014

Hi everyone. My first Jupiter for a long time. I had to wait until it was passing the meridian so I could track it using azimuth only on my 12"Goto Dobsonian (the Alt control is stuffed). fairly poor seeing with thin cloud coming through. Canon EOS 600D, 5x Powermate.

Thanks for looking,

Tom

That looks good for the altitude we get and great to get the Red Spot. I had a go too and the seeing seemed good but cloud would not stop with scudding clumps and high wispy stuff all night, I got only one gap big enough to image in.

John.
