Animated Io transit

My first Jupiter animation!
Made by taking 1000 frames of video every 5 minutes for about 2 hours then stacked in RegiStax and finished in PS.
I was hoping to get Io transiting Jupiter but it's really not that visible due to the resolution limits of my gear as well as the terrible seeing last night.
Gear was: SW ED80, EQ5, 2xBarlow, Canon 7D.

Thanks guys!

I've just had a bit more of a play with the frames to bring out a bit more detail, not sure if it's better...

You've got to be chuffed with that one Hugh. Especially seeing how you captured it through your ED80.
It's fantastic work.

That's excellent Hugh. Nice detail on the surface of the planet too.
