Sorry for the lack of updates lately - I've been flat out with work, family and other commitments and I'm struggling to find enough hours in the day to fit everything in.

So there's been a lack of updates to the main site here, but don't forget to Like our page on Facebook because I usually post something new (an image or a link to an interesting story) almost every day.

With the Transit of Venus and the Total Solar Eclipse coming up this year, no doubt many of you are starting to look at Solar Telescopes. Here's a few reviews to get you started:

Keep an eye on the IceTrade Classifieds for second hand solar telescopes - they come up from time to time and no doubt will be in high demand leading up to the Venus Transit.

On a personal note, I've had a very exciting few weeks. I entered a photograph in the Ken Duncan Photo Awards, and was awarded First Prize for my image "Surf Alone" taken at Avoca!

The prize is a 13-day photo adventure to the Kimberley's, with Ken Duncan himself! I'm still pinching myself, and it's part of the reason for the lack of time to do much on IceInSpace lately.

But I'm planning to spend more time on IceInSpace in the next month so please be patient with me.
