Event Report: Adventure to Taupo, NZ Astrophotography Festival

Hi guys.

I finally got around to loading up Paul's event report for the NZ Astrophotography Festival that he and some other aussies attended recently.

You can find the report at the Event Reports section of the IceInSpace site, or by clicking this link:

Adventure to Taupo, NZ Astrophotography Festival

Be warned, it's long! Paul has included every detail

Thanks for the report Paul, sounds like it was a fantastic weekend.

Wow! Fantastic report Paul! I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially all the bits about the DS lol . It was a shame about the clouds and the seeing though but at least you had a wonderful experience The viewing site looks absolutely amazing. In fact, NZ just simply looks stunning. Can't wait to go there.
Well done on the report Paul.

I am impressed. For a fellow that looked really at home in the aforementioned DS, this is a fantastic piece of literary work, well done. It was a pleasure and an honour to meet three Okkers that ventured across, and I hope they had as much fun as all those from here. Roll on the next one, I will seagull like Paul did this year, simpler, and gives you more time to swill the duty free.

Wonderful report Paul. The scenic mountain shot has me reaching for the NZ travel brochures! Sounds like you guys had a great time. Some interesting looking set-ups too.

Thanks guys, I had fun writing it.

I was a big worried I'd gone a bit over the top and made it a bit long. But once I got started I couldn't stop. Unfortunately after I'd sent it to Mike I remembered bits I'd left out. Ask Mike, he might tell you, he brought it to my attention.
