My 25 hour Helix

Plugging away at this with the little light sipper FSQ.

25 hours Ha so far (5nm bandpass)
Proline 16803
40 minute subs
FSQ
From Coonabarabran.

I used a bit of noise reduction in PS to help the background a bit, but the orignal data looks very good.

Great stuff John! Do you plan to add in OIII as Martin did?

Cheers

Well I did not originally plan to, and I had only expected to shoot about 10 hrs Ha because I thought the FL of the FSQ was just a little short for this object. But then that Martin guy showed his spectacular image and I just had to see what else was in there. I'll expose some OIII next clear night and see how long it's going to take to get enough signal.

The extra hours of data over my image really shows. I like the layered look to your data. Perhaps if I get more time I will do more to improve my image. As your image I can see that if you got the same amount of data for the OIII then this image would really be spectacular. Nice work.
