After running the IceInSpace Calendar Competition during May and June, over 250 images were submitted and after a record breaking 950+ votes by the extended IceInSpace Community, the winning images have now been chosen by you!

I took my first-ever star trails and tracked deep space photo almost exactly one year ago... so to have been shortlisted and voted the category winner (twice!) is a HUGE honour for me!

(Between the 2.5 lunar eclipses, Comet Lovejoy, and the Venus Transit in my first year of astro - I think I was rather spoilt!)

Well done Greg and everyone else for getting their images voted into the calendar. I'm of course very happy to also have one in it as well, and am always honoured that other people vote for my images so thank you to everyone that did in this competition. That's a very nice image Greg and the same with all the others. It great to be in such good company.

Thanks to Mike and David from Astrovisuals and anyone else I don't know of for making this happen. The only down side to this is that it means we are more than half way through the year already... gawd. At least it won't be long until I have something nice to hang up in the kitchen!
