Moonlite CFL - WOW!

My Moonlie CFL arrived today. 2.5" large format, 4.5" drawtube with 68mm threaded top, 1.25" and 2" adapters and 2.5" flange extender. Duel rate with shaft lock. Had to get it in Gold. Why Gold - matches the CF 127ED perfectly.
Fitting was actually a breeze, I was very apprehensive thinking about removing the old focuser and replacing it with the new (murphy's law), but thanks John (scagman) for the heads up - 6 small bolts off, slide off the old, slide on the new, 6 small bolts on, bingo - one beautiful bit of gear.
Fitted perfectly, fantastic finish on the focuser and maybe a little sexy, well it looks good anyway.
Of course, apologies to all - cloudy and rain in Melb for the next week - damn astro gods!

Can't wait to get out and try it.

WOW! I'll be dancing in the moonlite (preferable the new moon light!)

Clear skies

Rod

Have now had a couple of nights out with the ML. I am very impressed. Smooth, accurate and holds focuser realy well. I was impressed with the ML on my SW and ML have not let me down, this one is just as good. Perfect focus with all eyepieces including combinations with the Powermate, glad I got the 4.5" drawtube.
Expensive, but well worth the money.
PS - it does look sexy!

Clear skies
