Lagoon and Trifid

Hi Guys,

This is the first image I've posted and first time I've attempted to frame.
The Trifid nebula is one of my favourite objects in the sky and after seeing some of the images with the lagoon in there as well, I thought I would give it a shot too.
It's only 40 minutes and some rough processing but I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I'll hopefully gather a lot more data in the coming holidays.

Specs:
4x10 min guided
Astronomik CLS filter
QHY8L
Orion ED102t CF

Cheers,
Mitch

That isn't too bad of an effort!

What scope/lens did you use?

Nice work! I wonder if you might have been able to get a better fit if you'd put M8 and M20 in opposite corners.

I agree with Rick. Though it may not fit even then.
They're a lovely pairing though aren't they. Nice work.
