Well, I will have a go, this image is of the Nightcliff Jetty, Darwin NT just before dawn, I think it covers the topic.

Taken in a little town called Takayama, in Japan. A fair hike out of Tokyo but an amazing quiet little place.

In fact one of the strangest things on the trip, in this town is a store with the original fullsize Terminator prop used in the movie located, while there were multiples made for the sequels. The original terminator movie only had the one fullsize prop.

This is stretching the theme a bit, but we had a great sunset at Bribie Island this weekend. The three boys and a friend are at the waters edge. Couldn't get the Glasshouse Mountains in the background, but you get the idea.

A bit of help from Nature

There's not a lot of night lights in my little part of the world, nature chipped in on this one for me.

Nightlights

Hi guys,

I was re-visiting this forum really to find out how people had been doing with macro photography as I haven't posted anything for ages. I will do so, but in the meantime here is a night shot of Brisbane taken from Ascot with a Canon 24-105mm lens at 24mm, taken using a tripod and remote shutter release.
