Hi Dan,
Setup is a bit heavy for my HEQ5 to cope with (hoped it would, took a punt - lost! Can't afford an EQ6 at the moment too.) and funds are needed for a non astro project.
Cheers
Doug

Bummer about that Doug. Just looked over some of your images and they look GOOD despite the technical issues.

I have a Tal200K. Not a lot of them in Australia. I have been upgrading the standard 1.25" focuser to a 2" one, to enable me to image with this setup. I know Bert (Avandonk) used to image with the same scope. I would be keen to know how the Tal200K compares with the RC8 in terms of imaging. I have an EQ6 but the Tal is a tank! OTA weighs in around 12kg.

also I forgot I've got a 2" to 1.25" adapter to add to the above list.

Just noticed...Losmandy D rail is not visible in the above pics as I detached it to shave off a little weight. It will be reattached and is in pristine condition.
Cheers
