I bought this off a fellow IIS'er about a year ago
and it is in excellent condition.
I have just replaced the original OCS with a brand new one direct from Denk.
The problem was, I think, that some type of fluid had penetrated the original OCS cell and
a small amount had seeped in between one of it's internal elements.
Just looked like someone had used too much cleaning fluid on it.
The OCS screws on to the 2" nose-piece extension or your diagonal and is
otherwise independent of the main body of the binos.
So the rest of the system has not been compromised in any way.
The package consists of:
Denkmeier II Premium binoviewer featuring
26mm clear aperture 1/8th wave prisms
and self centring dioptre eyepiece holders.
Optical Power Switch which provides three degrees
of magnification from a single pair of eyepieces.
1.25" and 2" nose-pieces
2" adjustable extension tube for newtonians.
2" OCS cell.
Aluminium case.
Works with most reflectors, refractors and SCTs.
