Belt of Orion

Hi folks,

done this night and the night before from my balkony with Moravian G2 and Canon EF200 LII. 15x900s L and 7x600s for every channel in RGB.

Werner that is a stunning shot!

I have seen shots like this ( in different angles/ quality etc), but this is so clear and interesting!
For some reason, my focus is on the two little 'white' doodads. I think they are IC424 and IC423. Apart from the stunning views of Flame, HH and surrounding nebs.... they intrigue me....
Thanks for sharing, and I would love to see what your balcony looks like!!!

from a true balcony!!!!!( I thought you were going to post a pic of the balcony on an observatory hidden deep in the European forests!!

This turned out great Werner!
The large version is excellent to swim around in.
I like the 8 spikes this lens produces.
The Witch head came out well and there are some interesting tight little nebs floating around near Alnilam & Mintake.
Colours in my pinion are also not over saturated... just right imo.

Great stuff!

Lovely result Werner, not too little not too much, its just right

The spikes look quite ok but have you considered using The lens wide open and then stopping it down with an aperture stop in front of the lens?
