the propeller is like the fan in the bottom of your reflector. It prevents the temperature of the head from falling too far below ambient and dewing up...

Actually Adam its designed to dissipate all the heat generated when all the cpu's kick in.

I think it wasn't long after that photo that it mysteriously disappeared

Pondering the moustache.
I looked close, I think I saw some artwork within it.. carefully trimmed edges in a triangle thingy.
