Hi All,

I have a 7.5 mm & 10 mm Parks Gold series Plossl's for sale.

These are super sharp Ep's. Made in Japan like new in original box etc.

I'm selling them to help fund the rest of my Ortho's that are on the way.

$135 each firm or $250 for both firm. Posted to you in Aus.

If you want a very sharp Ep these are it.

PM me for more details.

These are excellent if anyone is looking for something in these focal lengths. They are a 5 element Masuyama designed plossl and the same eyepiece as the Celestron Ultima, Orion Ultrascopic and Antares Elite.

Dave,

Not wanting to hijack your thread, but as a sale is pending I have a couple of questions out of curiosity.

Have you ordered the UO HD orthos ?

Secondly, why are you selling these? Apart from the orthos having slightly longer eye relief there is not much between them optically IMO, they are both superb.

John,
I'll try to make this a short story. I had UO Ortho's about 5 years ago the full set like the photo below(thats not the full set)
I sold them and i have always wanted them back. No matter what eyepiece I look through or have owned, I have always missed them.
I did not go the way of the HD as i prefer the volcano tops. Better to look through.
I thought the GS Plossl's are super, I had a long hard think on selling them.
But I needed the cash to help pay for the Ortho's so thats what happend.
Your friend Daniel has been great on getting them for me. Frontier optics great service.

So its a very personal thing about owning these Ep's, I really like them, they are so good on the Planets and the Moon and the 25 and 18 mm are very nice on DSO. Yes you can buy a lot better for DSO but not for $98. Each.
They suit me and my Maksutov very well.
But this time I'm never going to sell my second set of UO Ortho's
Hope you make sense of all that.

Cheers.

Dave,

I keep my full set of UO HD orthos cause "I love em". I have everything covered with my 4 Pentax XW's, 27 Panoptic and 2.5X Powermate, but $700 aint gonna change the course of my life so I wont be selling the HD orthos.
