Jupiter 14th June

Initially I was reluctant to post this as I didn't consider it to be that good. But I got really bored with this constant cloud and decided to post anyhow
Usual gear (8" Newt, 2x Barlow +extension, Toucam 840 )

That's pretty impressive for an 8" - there's hope for me yet! Well done.
The conditions must have been near-perfect.

Cheers
John

A nice result Clayton, well done.

Some times cloudy weather is good as it is only then that we have the time to go back and really experiment with our processing regimes, try different things and find stuff that we will never do again or maybe, something that is an improvement.

So many possibilities, so little time, "generally".

Regards
Trevor

Thanks Dave, Michael, John, and Trevor.
John the conditions were good but only about 7.5-8/10. I was playing with extension tubes on the Barlow, so it was an experimental session.
And Trevor (sorry about the bad line) it seems every cloud has a silver lining I could certainly do with the time to hone my processing skills. At the moment it is like brain surgery with a stone axe.

Well, You could have told me But it was nice to come back to Adelaide to a surprise
BTW Right on cue the skies cleared for the first time tonight and I'm too tired after my trip back to be bothered setting up for Jupiter
Sorry I wasn't able to help much with the LPI controls, but it was really nice meeting you and yours
