Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit

[SOLD]

Usable with any make, model or type of telescope that utilises standard 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) eyepieces, the Celestron Eyepiece and Filter Kit (#94303) includes all of the following items:

Five Superior Grade 1.25 inch (31.7mm) Plössl Eyepieces - 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 15mm and 32mm focal lengths to cover both deep-sky and planetary subjects. All have an indented set-screw ring for secure fastening and are internally threaded for standard 1.25" size filters. 4-element design with 52° Apparent Field of View (32mm has 44°). Superb color resolution, edge sharpness and clarity.

All of the eyepieces have fully multi-coated, edge-blackened lens elements to eliminate reflection and internal light scattering, for maximum contrast and resolution that will enhance fine planetary detail and faint deep-sky features. They feature folding rubber eyeguards and each comes with its own caps for both eye-lens and barrel, to protect the eyepiece from dust and handling.

Seven 1.25” Eyepiece Filters for Lunar and Planetary use - Since the kit includes all the eyepieces necessary to study the planets in detail, these filters (each with its own protective case), will greatly enhance enjoyment of the solar system:
  • Kodak Wratten #12 - Yellow (74% transmission), for Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars
  • Kodak Wratten #21 - Orange (46% transmission), for Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn
  • Kodak Wratten #25 - Red (14% transmission), for Jupiter and Mars
  • Kodak Wratten #56 - Light Green (53% transmission), for Mars and Jupiter
  • Kodak Wratten #58A - Green (24% transmission), for Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and Venus
  • Kodak Wratten #80A - Blue (30% transmission), for Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon
Moon Filter - ND96 Neutral Density (0.9 density, 13% transmission) with protective case, for lunar observing around the time of full moon; also helpful for splitting double stars.

Aluminum Carrying Case - This sturdy and well-built case fits all of the above items into its die-cut foam interior and still has room for additional accessories. Perfect for keeping everything organised, secure and ready for use.

RRP of the complete Celestron kit is more than $400 and although this kit is missing a Barlow lens, you won’t be needing one with such a wide selection of eyepieces at your fingertips. Most of these eyepieces and filters have never been used and the kit can be yours for just $200, which includes careful packing and registered postage to anywhere in Australia. Inquiries by PM only please.
