The absolute best is up for sale

Incredible imaging outfit For Sale!

It’s all top of the line, best in class gear, so it won’t disappoint someone who is looking for the best imager possible at a bargain price. I am offering it on IIS first so that it might go to another Aussie (others are welcome too of course LOL J)

All in perfect condition, the fully integrated package includes:

1) The FLI flag ship imager in the ProLine with the KAI11002 class 1 chip with no column defects, it’s as clean as a whistle! Argon filled imaging chamber for absolutely no frosting and no desicant plug recharging, state of the art quiet electronics for ultra smooth image frames and ultra low cooling - all best in class.

2) Colour Filterwheel FLI CFW-2-7 is the gold standard amongst filter wheels. It’s operation is whisper smooth, movement is orthogonal and perfectly repeatable. Comes with 2” nose piece ready to slip right in your scope!

3) Full set of state of the art ultra low reflection Astronomik Type IIc LRGB and 11.8nm Ha SII OIII H-Beta 2inch filters – all but the H-Betta are fully installed in the CFW.

You will enjoy:

1) A massive clean 35mm frame imager
2) Lightning fast downloads of the full res 11k chip in under 2 sec!
3) Super cooling of nearly 64C below ambient that enables -30C or less chip temps all year round anywhere in Australia even on the hottest nights, without buckets, water pumps or ice!
4) Class leading electronics – very low noise sub frames
5) Full range of filtered imaging capabilities, both broadband and narrowband

It is a virtual turn key operation that will plug and play with Maxim and Astroart as well as many other software packages so don’t be worried about any complications, it is tried and tested and can just be mounted on your scope and you’re away!

Landed in Australia, including GST and freight, this is an AU$16 000+ imaging juggernaut of a setup that will not disappoint. It has produced many award winning and published images featured right across the World…it will make some lucky bugger VERY happy!

I want to sell the lot, as the ultimate imaging unit and I am asking just AU$10 000 for the entire kit, delivered anywhere in Australia. (Outside Australia, let’s talk).

This is me the day the gear arrived to me (you could be this happy too!):

Hi Mike, I bet a heap of people are saving up for it. I certainly am.
If I can just ask one question. To fully illuminate the 35mm chip without vignetting, how big a focal aperture do I need. ie would a 2'' do it for a while untill I upgrade to a 3 or 4 inch focuser equipped refractor?
Thanks for your time.
PS: I've been amazed at your photos for ages, it's a real skill to get these results....Awsome job...your not quitting are you?
Cheers...Joe

Good one Guy - you're going to dangle that thing in front of me next month while I'm still waiting for any of the manufacturers to actually produce an 8300-based camera and manage to deliver it. Thanks!

Well done though. Serious bit of kit.
