I think it has a PG rating...if so it shouldn't be too bad.

In the end, whether it's suitable or not is entirely up to you. It's your call.

Thanks Carl, I try to go on ratings, it will be suitable with PG just sometime they let a movie slip one way or the other. My wife and/or I usually go with him. I have a 14yo as well and just a borderline age that allows the whole family to go together. Especially when my eldest is starting to read Stephen King.

Go grab your local rag and find out what it's rated at...I might be mistaken.

That way, you'll know for sure.

some swearing, essence of a love scene, high violence.
i dont think its a childrens movie. the themes the stoery is built on is definately targetted towards adults.

but each to their own.
kids will love the graphics and cgi etc.

Fantastic movie, violence and scary alien animals might freak out a 12 year old but it really is brilliant in its message and effects. Will be going out to see it again multiple times.

Myself and my Wife both loved it.

Its the best Sci-Fi movie I have seen for a while.
The 3D effects were nothing short of totally amazing.
Well worth the money to see it in 3D.

There is a good message in there as well.

I'll definately see it again.

Thumbs up from me...........
