Deep in the SMC....NGC346 Edit plus NGC55

Tonights result was NGC 346, an open cluster and nebula
deep inside the SMC.
Seeing was quite good tonight and also I am quite far south so
drive PE errors are minimal. Homemade wormgear with PEC on.

Also attached, a link to an APOD view of this object from Hubble.

Edit: Added a result of NGC 55 as well from the same night.
Cloud cut this set short....Also closer to the equator...drive errors
are amplified.

Lovely work Steve and the repro looks better - sharper and smoother.

Very nice Steve. Great couple of images. Detail, focus and guiding/tracking are all very good.
Well done Mate.

Beautiful work Steve.
Do you have a focal reducer? Be nice to see all of 55.

Thanks guys,

Jeanette, yeah I have a few home-made jobs.
It's on the never ending list of projects ahead!

Here is an LRGB attempt tonight using RGB data from tonight and
the Lum from the 13th.

Only a rough play with the set, please forgive me

Steve

Steve,

Another couple of excellent images there.

I also like your LRGB version of NGC 346. Interesting colours.

Regards,
Humayun
