Moon last night

I captured some images of the Moon last night as a favour to a mate in Canberra. He wanted to identify the craters named after Sir Thomas Brisbane. The image consists of 8 panes captured with my 400D, Vixen 102M f10, 4x Powermate. The inset is 100% crop, while the Moon is reduced to 25% original (I think... brain is a bit fuzzy after late night and back to work this morning ).

Merged, resized and saved for the web in PS CS2.

hope you enjoy
Tony

Interesting Tony. I hadn't realized that Sir Thomas Brisbane had a family of craters named after him. Thanks for posting it.

Cheers,
Stephen

Revisited Brisbane again tonight (one on the Moon that is). Lost Z and E and picked up X... just barely.
