These systems can be configured to almost any GEM, Alt/ Az and Dob mount and most unipolar stepper motors.
All you need is a laptop/ desktop computer with the Scope software connected to the control box (I've used an old 386hz up to a 450mhz)..
*450mhz HP laptop supplied and configured for these motors*
This program only needs to run in DOS mode to take full advantage
of the CPU timing.
You'll need to put in your correct Lat and Long. and also gearing details into the config. file.
You'll also need a 12V 2amp power supply.
This has been my sole motor control and goto system for the past 6 years.
I originally used it on a Vixen GPDX mount with the stock MT-1 motors.
Then when I upgraded my mount to a CI700, I used these 'photographed' Vexta PK264m-01b stepper motors.
This goto system can fairly easily be used on a Losmandy G8/ G11 or any medium to heavy duty mount with the right hardware.

This system has a 'software learning curve' to get your head around and is necessary for maximum use from Mel Bartels excellent controller software Scope 1.
The motors must be mounted yourself.
note: This system is probably more suitable for ATMers.
But once this system is up and running right, you don't have to touch it for years.
