Oh Jen what or how are we going to punish you for this outrage.

1: Go and watch them.

2: Listen to the wrath of fellow IISers.

3: Just party on as usuall.

Cheers Kev.

I read the title and thought, "ohhh deeeaar, this'll be a good read" LOL

Actually, I have only watch up to the 4th movie, and the one with Shatner and Stewart together.

I did goto one of the all-night movie marathons at the Valhalla cinema in Northcote (Melbourne) many years ago, slept in the aisles etc, so I have been present throughout the rest of the movies.

Star Trek TNG rocks and I just bought all 7 series cheap

Being astronomy aware you do however have to suspend disbelief on the odd occasion though

I’m with you Jen. Sci Fi doesn’t really float my boat, although I have seen Star Wars (1 and 2 I think?) and one of the (cinema) Star Trek movies. I haven’t yet seen 2001 – is that a shocking confession?

Cheers

Dennis

Don't despair, Jen! You are obviously in good company! I'm with you, Dennis and Phil... well just about anyway...

I used to love star trek as a kid, but I never got into any of the new stuff or the movies. I also loved Lost in Space and the Time Tunnel, and It's About Time and all sorts of sci fi stuff as a kid, but fortunately some of that is no longer around.

I've never got into Battlestar Galactica or Stargate, etc either.

But the sci fi I do enjoy includes, Star Wars, The Hitchhikers Guide (In all it's forms), MIB and MIIB, and Discworld (mainly books but The Hogfather is a good movie).

Hey Al I'm a Discworld fan too! Well the books anyway. Have you seen Nanny Oggs Cookbook? I found it in A & R a while ago and resisted but now it seems to have vamooshed.

No. I have a handful of books to collect and that's one of them. They've gone a great job of The Hogfather as a movie IMHO. I have it on DVD. Apparently Wyrd Systers was made into a movie on video, but I haven't seen it.
