Titan transit
Managed to capture the first 90 minutes of last night's transit.
The seeing wasn't good enough to take the 3x barlow with the C9.25, so I backed off and used the 2.5x Powermate.
The trade-off? Crisper images at the expense of image scale
Still...it was nice to capture the event.
The first image is pre ingress, taken through a red filter. The second is during transit through a green filter.
If you look close enough you can even see the gap between the planet and the rings.
Anyway....I'll work up some colour images soon, and perhaps a short animation.

Hi Matt
Here’s my (best) effort with the DBK21 colour CCD camera. This was taken at 01:22am and is probably the best of the bunch. The other 14 AVI’s were more impacted by the variable seeing, so I’m not too sure if there will be an animation from me.
My 1 ¼ inch adapter has a broad ring that pushes the DBK21 further away from the rear element of the x2.5 PowerMate and I think this effectively converts it to a x2.1 or 2.0 ‘ish Barlow.

I grabbed a heap of data, and here are a couple of hard and fast ones... rushed processing, etc.

I was in a rush last night to properly congratulate Matt and Dennis for their excellent images. I was just using the 4" Vixen with 2x barlow. The 4x powermate had no chance early in the evening, although at the end of my session I might have grabbed something, but it was all too hard at 01:30

Matt, I've beat you to the animation with my own poor images... I can't wait to see yours.
Modded toucam pro, 60 sec @5/sec, Registax 4, dropped the saturation in CS2, animation in Animation Shop 2.
