Partial Solar Eclipse WA

First one, although a partial is not that spectacular and I couldn't carry all the way through because of my roof line.

Each exposure cut and pasted in PS7

We set up to view it here in Gove.
However due to thunderstorms in the west, we only caught a few glimpses of it between the clouds.
But, we did see it, so I am glad we made the effort.
Nice series of shots Trevor !

Onya Trev, tried to take a few shots with a point and shoot Canon, while they weren't shockingly bad, they weren't good either!

Nice Trev! was watching the partial eclipse through the PST for the whole 2hrs. The moons passing over the Sun actually passed near two large prominence either side of the Sun/Moon eclipse. Was just amazing!
Great snaps!

Nice sequence Trevor
Where's the HA shot from? I don't remember the sun looking like that through my mate's PST today!

My roof line/horizon line is almost always what catches me, but for once, this time, I had a good location and no such problem.

I've rendered the shots I took as a quicktime movie. 1 shot every 5 minutes. Picture quality not brilliant...
