Comet Lulin this morning

Hi,

Caught C/2007 N3 Lulin this morning with
the GSO-12 and DSI Pro II, luminosity only.

Stacked on the head of the comet, shows noticeable drift
after frames spaced over 10mins.

Easily seen in the 8x50 finder, quite bright!

regards,
Steve B.

Thanks Steve, nice image. Giving me more inspiration to get off my butt, drift align my mount and capture some widefield views of this.

Hi Steve,

thank you for posting! Nice pic!

I`m still waiting for a chance to observe this comet. The nucleus seems to be bright.

cheers

Hi,

got another 65frames of Lulin this morning.
Seeing got steadily better towards the end of this
session as you can see from the stars.
(More shots contribute later in the stack than earlier)

Also, I did a topography of the result and I can't see any noticeable
tail yet! Visually easily picked up in 20x50 binocs.

Thanks all for your feedback so far,

Steve B.
