Sunspots ar798 and ar809, Sep 10

Hi guys.

Here's a couple of images of that huge sunspot ar798, that's erupting solar flares and causing those beautiful aurora. Taken on Sep 10, at approx 10am AEST.

Details:
- 10" dob on EQ platform
- ToUcam @ 10fps
- FL: 1250mm (newt prime focus). Seeing was not good enough to barlow.
- Seeing: 5.5/10
- Each image is a single frame, processed in photoshop.

Comments welcome.

good stuff mike
I actually got to see them before the clouds came over (just) I whipped the camera out and went to take pics... Bec had taken the batteries over to her friends place!
so I grabbed some batteries out of the stereo remote (1/2 flat) and tried some pics. I got 2 before the batteries went flat... heres one, out of focus slightly.

need to do some work on this but it ws extremely rushed...

Got this through one of the many suckerholes before completely overcast...

Now suffering from cloud depression!!!

Interesting to see how dynamic this group has been - looking back at the other images...
