30 November 2008 Venus Jupiter and crescent moon from Warners Bay NSW

Well for the first time for a very long time we were treated for clear skies. It made for quite a stunning sunset and I headed off to Warners Bay to make the most of it. I used it for a trial run for tonight to iron out or work out the kinks. And I had a few, the first lot of images are with the 400D and 18-200mm sigma lens and I left it set to Auto on ISO 400.

The second lot are with the Pentax K10D and the 50-500 lens. I have some cleaning to do here…….

Excellent images Dave, really nice. Straight horizons and all!

I love the 4th one in the first lot - beautiful composition and exposure.

I look forward to your shots from tonight!

Terrific Dave,
Love all of them...Great backdrops.

We have clouds here at the moment and its getting close to dark, looks like we may miss out.
