Deep Wide LMC in Colour plus Narrow Band in HDR

This is the start of a deep mosaic of the LMC. It is part of the previous colour mosaic enhanced with HA and O3 narrow band.

Large image here 3.0MB
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~fmlee/lmchdr_col+nb.jpg

Canon 300mm F2.8L ,at f/2.8 with 5DH, Astronimik HA and O3, 5x(1,2,4,8 min) 10x16 min, at 800 ISO with fridge at -10C. Because the darks match the lights so well as they are taken at the same temperature (within 0.3 C )the noise is almost non existant even at 800ISO.

I still have to get the colour looking 'better' but this will do for now.

Bert

Really nice wide filed BERT.

By the way, do you know the name of the "ring" nebula to the left of and down a little from the Tarantula? I can't seem to find it on my Star Atlas.
