Orions Belt and Sword

Managed to collect a decent amount of data after Moonset and before morning twilight.
Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L. All at F/2.8 and an ISO of 500.

Exposure sets at 15s, 30s , 1,2,4,8,16 min.

Processed with ImagesPlus, stacked and aligned with Registar, used EasyHDR to produce an LDR image from this data.

It is tempting to up the contrast or fiddle with curves but this is a realistic representation of the relative intensities of all tne objects in this image.

Wonderful widefield Bert, a great capture. The Horsehead looks great just hanging there.

Well done.

Nice to be able to see the relation of the various stars and nebula to each other so clearly.
