Tonight I probably had some of the best luck i've ever had with astronomy/astrophotography.
I went outside, set everything up, went inside to get a drink...I go back outside, format my card & get ready to click the shutter button. Just before I click the shutter button...the power in the entire city goes off! I saw more in the sky than I ever had before. I took some images but only got around 4 frames before the lights started to come back on.
Yep, its amazing just how much light people think they need to feel comfy, especially those pesky back foor lights that must be on even though no-one is outside or moving about.
