Corona Australis with EasyHDR

Had a reasonable night until the fog started to form. I managed to collect enough data for this.
Large image 2.0 MB.
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~trlee8/corA_ehdr07.jpg

Details
Canon 5DH, Canon 300mm F2.8L at f/2.8, 20x1 min, 8x4 min, 6x16 min, at an ISO of 500, ambient temperature 8 deg C at start 2 deg C at finish. Fridge temperature -11 deg C. No sign of condensation yet.
Used Images Plus and RegiStar to produce three stacked images at each exposure level and used EasyHDR to produce an LDR TIFF.

That's beautiful, Bert.. lovely and haunting at the same time.

However I'd prefer it with diffraction spikes - personal opinion

A very nice image Bert, the starfield is so sharp and well defined and the nebula stands out against the backdrop wonderfully.

I'll have to disagree, diffraction spikes are, IMO, chocolate boxy. Nice image Bert.
