Hmm, excellent write up, easy to follow and very nicely illustrated - makes me want to go out and buy a Newtonian just so I can build this device!

According to the original Krupa article, it could be used for collimating a refractor but not an SCT. But then it was supposed to work for Newtonians, which, in its original form, it didn't
