New BAA Spectral Database

Andy Wilson (BAA) has just announced the new BAA Spectral database.
This could be a very useful repository for all our spectra.

I am pleased to announce the launch of the BAA Spectroscopy Database. This is a project that I have been working on for the BAA over the past year. It enables 1D FITS format spectra which are compliant with the BeSS standard to be uploaded by users. Anyone may then view or download the spectra.


I would emphasize that we are not intending to replace existing databases such as BeSS and the ARAS Spectral Database, rather to complement them.
