Supermoon from Adelaide

Too cloudy for the moon rise, but I got some good detail when it was higher. It did fill more of the frame than I can remember seeing before, but it just looks like any other full moon with no foreground reference.
Nikon D3300 on a Skywatcher ED100. Cropped.

Same for me... Too cloudy for moon rise, which apparently is when the moon really looked huge. But I took a few photos later on too, even if they look pretty normal (and the moon actually looked normal too when it was high in the sky). Apparently it was the hugest moon in about 70 years, so I thought I would take a few photos anyway...

I like the Moon - thanks for the pic. You do not have to wait long for another technical Super Moon - there is a Full Moon at Perigee on the 14 December - if my maths are OK it will be only 3,300 km further out than this one - about 359,800km away.
