Cats Paw Nebula

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has tried imaging the Cats Paw nebula in Scorpius with a modded SLR camera. I'm thinking about trying this nebula in the coming weeks.

In terms of scope and equipment the setup would be:

ED120 Black Diamond Refractor
AZEQ6 mount
ST80 Guidescope
Synguider
Canon 600D modded

I notice this nebula is imaged a lot in narrowband but interesting to know whether I should bother with the SLR.

Regards,

Tom

It's mostly H-alpha I believe, so it should show up nicely in a modded DSLR
