Widefield NGC253 with 8" Schmit newt

This was the only image I got from Rons place with my new travel set up.

I have not posted it yet as I have not been real happy with the result but I am not convinced of the collimation and should have done a star test like I said I was going to.

Anyway here it is.

10 x 700 second exposures ISO400.
NO cooling as humidity was at 90%
No Flats or Darks....clouds come so we gave up.

Scope 8" Schmit newt F4
Camera: Canon 350D with Baader MPCC and LPR filter
Mount: EQ6 autoguided
Guide scope: ED80

I think I can improve a lot on this image having cooling ON and processed properly.
Not posting full rez as its nothing special.

very ordinary Tony. Mate, will you stop bashing your head against the wall and look at the stars. I would be stoked with that!!

Only slightly cropped Eric to get rid of any overlapping edges.

I crop all my images.... approx 10% of the image is cropped out.
