I have decided to sell my GSO 8" f5 1000mm newtonian since it is in storage at the moment and my recent obsession with quadcopters means I am in need of funds urgently.
I have not taken it out to dark skies, only tested it once in my back yard after buying it from fellow IIS member Marios early this year.
It includes the stock 2 speed crayford focuser and I will also include a farpoint dew shield and bahtinov mask with 1.25" eyepiece adapter, finderscope, vixen style dovetail and tube rings.
The previous owner also installed a dew heater band on the secondary as well. This means the original cap does not fit on the end of the scope but a showercap does the trick, can also supply original cap if requested.
Asking price is $300 ONO and pickup from Caulfield, Victoria is preferred.
Mount is not included.
