Drift alignment and manual guiding-simulator

For the very best tutorial on drift alignment and a simulator for doing it see the following link. It has the best explanation of whAT you are actually doing and how to do it. The simulator is excellent and just what you need to do to get polar alignment. You then click on a button and see just how good your drift alignment technique was. Also a tutorial and simulator for manual guiding with a simulator. Excellent in all regards. If you dont read the tutorials and use the simulators you will really be doing yourself a disservice.

Have fun and remember for the initial azimuth drift in southern hemisphere , in reality you will be adjusting in the opposite direction.
Regards
Allan

It's great little simulator Allan, that's for sure. It's one of those links that everyone first starting out on drift aligning needs to stumble onto.
