Think I've posted this one before on the site but its a memorable one for me
One of the first shots I took with my new D70 DSLR in Feb/Mar 2005.Very hot day at Perth Zoo with nearly all the animals taking siesta's except for this obliging meerakat who scaled this 2m rock for some sentry duty

I took this photo in Feb 1999 at the Sepilok Orang-utan sanctuary in Sarawak, Malaysia. At the sanctuary they rehabilitate orphaned Orang-utans for eventual release back into the wild. (Scanned from the original print)

Ibis to the Sun
This was taken from my back Paddock today (11th September 2006) at 2pm using a Kodak Easyshare CX7310. No processing done coz I like the way it looks 'as is'.
I was photographing them on the ground. As I crept up, they took off and I got this great image as they flew into the Sun.
They are 'Australian White Ibis'

This Bearded Dragon was taken on the 24th June 2006 with my trusty Cannon Ixus 500. It is sitting on an old air valve ball in our front yard. It was so calm it even let us touch it.
I just love the skin.
